.. today i made a killing hahaha..
so happy... i am a not so avid reader kinda person.. as most of my friends would know. and it requires books to get to know me then the other way around..but sometimes good books seem to jump at your face.. or when certain books interest you.. it seems to set the ball rolling..and for those who like me..go book shopping would dread the feeling of guilt after buying a read cos sometimes books go for a bout 40 to 50$$ and sometimes you really wonder if it was worth it...
one such encounter awas with this book of mine called the "secrets of the code" by dan burstein.. well it cost me about 36$$ i think.. for me aqbook like this is kinda reasonable lah..well about a month later.. i went back to borders to see a nother publisher ahs come up witha samller print of the book and it had a less likable cover and a more compact size but it was f#$king goign for only $10.50.. i was flabbergasted..
well today was a different experience almost as good as cheating death..almost..
wel there is this boook called the "hannibal lecter omnibus" for the uninitiated an omnibus is kinda like many books rolled into one..at borders the exact same book would have set me back about 42 dollars but today i got it for only 8 dollars.. grinning..heheh..apart from that i also got "middlesex" by jeffrey eugenides .. the two books were more than wat i could lumber home already so i only "made of" with them. think i will be goign down again for another round of harvesting.. ahaha
